How to Monetize Gentrification

20181101_152024.jpeg

In my youth, I was told that California would one day only be financially comfortable for the wealthy.  I was also taught to always keep some type of property here in California. So, as a seasoned real estate investor and business owner, I closely monitor all trends regarding topics of real estate and business while looking for opportunities. Over the last decade, I’ve noticed some historical moves like gentrification (high rent and housing), opportunity zones, affordable housing, tariffs, and Airbnb to bring into fruition what was told to me as a youth.

California has the most expensive real estate in the country.  And now that it’s being gentrified, it’s pushing African American’s out in large numbers creating historical investment opportunities in new business startups, expansions, and land development all over the country. For all future articles, I will be discussing investment opportunities, strategies and more on how to Monetize Gentrification.
